Sean Bean named in Game of Thrones Cast

By Jon Hunter

Actor Sean Bean who played Major Richard Sharpe will be joined by Lean Hedely of The Sarah Connor Chronicles fame, in HBO's 'A games of Thrones' which is based on George RR Martin popular 'Song of Fire and Ice' series of fantasy books. Lean Hedley is due to be playing the role of queen everyone loves to hate-Cersei Lannister

They will be accompanying Peter Dinklage, Mark Addy, Jennifer Ehle, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Tamzin Merchant, and Iain Glen in the cast, an addition to a few lesser known and completely unknown actors who have been confirmed for the pilot. No view date has been set for the pilot as yet, and there is no firm promise that HBO will commit to a full series. However with an impressive cast list headed up by Bean and Hedley, this project is definitely being taken seriously.

The cast is already impressive, but some new casting is still to be announced and unconfirmed but strongly rumoured casting of Rory McCann as Sandor "The Hound" Clegane.

The show is been adapted and produced by David Benioff and Dan Weiss. David has suggested a 'crappy' tagline for the project could be, "The Sopranos in Middle-earth", which can only set the imagination racing. With plot elements that will contain spot of conspiracy, incest, child murder, corruption, conspiracy, a rival claimant to the throne across the sea, the still-festering legacy of a civil war 20 years before, a growing threat in the North and did I mention conspiracy?

Production of the pilot will begin in Northern Ireland in 26th October 2009, at Paint Hall Studios in Belfast and has the support of the northern Irish government. It is also likely that the BBC will have a financial involvement in the same way they did in HBO's Rome series.

HBO has a strong history of producing great television drama, and with the strength of the source material, the cast and HBO's pedigree. I think we can look forward to a truly exciting proposition. - 30208

How To Find A Great Value In Ireland Tours

By Sean Patrick

There are a great number of options available when examining different companies that offer Ireland tours. Deciding which one you would like to use can be a challenging task if you are not aware of what to look for.

Getting the full experience you are seeking on your tour is essential when searching for the best value. It is easy to find a mediocre tour with low cost. However, when you are on a tour, you are seeking a certain experience that is unique to that given location. Even if it demands a little more cost, a premium tour should be worth more than a mediocre tour.

Some bargain Ireland tours require that you travel on chartered flights, for example. This does help cut costs, but it also greatly reduces your flexibility in arranging your travel plans. It also leaves you with fewer resources if the flight is canceled, because charter airlines book flights based on capacity, rather than on a schedule.

Likewise, some bargain Ireland tours don't include lodging - or if they do, it's provided by discount chain hotels. As any experienced traveler will tell you, the quality of the lodging can greatly impact your enjoyment of the trip.

Quality Ireland tour packages include other benefits such as meal plans, transportation, and in depth tour guides. Many low end service packages don't include such benefits, and this can become quite a burden when looking for a relaxing quality vacation. Ironically, in the interest of saving money, it is often in your best interest to conduct business with a tour packaging service that offers such luxuries as opposed to spending time, energy, and money trying to find such benefits.

When searching for Ireland tours, it is in your best interest to not be stuck on the marked price of a service, but rather the overall value. Does the tour cover the geographic regions you are planning on seeing? Does it allow you to explore some areas on your own? Are transportation and meal packages included? Does it offer lodging and if so is it authentic? Will you have an educated guide?

Again, it is crucial to inspect all aspects of the Ireland tours you searching through. Ireland is a beautiful land with many authentic and majestic sights to be seen. Don't sell yourself and your vacation short by not getting the fullness of the vacation. - 30208

Ireland Tours - Picking The Right One

By Sean Patrick

Dozens of companies offer Ireland tours. Choosing among them can be difficult - unless you know how to compare the available options and services, so you can find the best value in Ireland tours.

Examining the best value does not necessarily mean looking for lowest price. Finding a cheap tour is very easy to do, but the quality of a tour is something you should always be looking for. A tour is worthless if you do not get the full experience you are seeking.

Some Ireland tours that use bargain prices demand that you use a charter flight for your travel. While this does cut costs, it reduces your ability to prepare and arrange your travel. The flight could be delayed or the flight could even be canceled (since all charter flights are based on capacity), leaving you with fewer or no opportunities.

Likewise, some bargain Ireland tours don't include lodging - or if they do, it's provided by discount chain hotels. As any experienced traveler will tell you, the quality of the lodging can greatly impact your enjoyment of the trip.

What To Know When Planning Your Ireland Tours

Dozens of companies offer Ireland tours. Choosing among them can be difficult - unless you know how to compare the available options and services, so you can find the best value in Ireland tours.

Lodging is an important part of your vacation and tour filled experience. If you do not enjoy the quality of your residence in Ireland, the overall authenticity could be ruined. With that said, there are many bargain Ireland vacation packages that don't include lodging and others that only include discount chain hotels. Again, this can ruin the overall experience of your vacation and tour.

Finally, most bargain Ireland tours don't include incidentals such as meals, transportation, and guide services. While some of these services may be provided, they're not included in the cost of the tour - so you'll have to pay them out-of-pocket. This can make the tour less of a bargain, when its all said and done.

There are a number of questions you can ask when looking at a specific package for Ireland tours. Does the tour visit the specific sights you would like to see? Does it allow you time to do personal sightseeing? Are meal and transportation included in the package? Does the tour offer authentic, high quality lodging? Will the tour have an authentic, well educated guide?

Remember, look beyond just the price tag. This is your vacation and your authentic Irish tour. You are not going to Ireland with the expectations of a sub-par experience. You are going to see the natural beauty authenticity. Find what you're looking for. - 30208
